[34] From the Hypsipyle of Euripides. Cicero (Tuscul. iii. 25.) has translated six lines from Euripides, and among them are these two lines,—
Reddenda terrae est terra: tum vita omnibus
Metenda ut fruges: Sic jubet necessitas.
